Al Guercio, the president of Ulano, dropped into Screenflex’s Calgary office for a quick visit this week. Unfortunately there was not a lot of time for non-business events such as the must-do day trip to Banff in the spectacular Canadian Rockies, but we did manage a dinner, a shop visit and lunch with Brooke Carter of Wheat Buckley before Al hopped on a plane for Los Angeles.
Conversations with Al are always interesting and entertaining, especially when the topic is the future of the industry in North America. His views and insight based on a long history in the industry and exposure to it world-wide are particularly valuable to those of us trying to keep pace with the rapid changes.
